This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Articulate and convey a persuasive product vision that aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and market dynamics within the MGA sector.
• Take ownership of and sustain the product roadmap, balancing immediate deliverables with long-term strategic goals.
• Define the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for new features and oversee iterative releases to foster ongoing improvement.
• Clearly present product strategy, progress updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders with confidence.
• Ensure continuous alignment with internal teams, business partners, and customers to guarantee that product decisions meet real-world requirements.
• Work collaboratively with business and operations teams to convert needs into well-defined epics, features, and user stories.
• Be the primary advocate for the customer within the delivery team, championing experiences that enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Actively participate as a member of the Scrum delivery team, engaging in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily standups.
• Manage and uphold a well-organized, prioritized backlog in conjunction with cross-functional, self-organizing teams.
• Promote development best practices and quality standards to achieve superior product outcomes.
• Assess and validate each iteration prior to release, integrating feedback to enhance product refinement continuously.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, or a similar field.
• Over 7 years of experience as a Digital Product Owner or Digital Product Manager.
• In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum frameworks, sprint cycles, and backlog management.
• Proven history of delivering digital products successfully within time and scope constraints.
• Awareness of insurance market trends and MGA operational models.
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for making data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to convey complex ideas clearly to executive audiences.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management capabilities across various teams and levels of seniority.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to product quality.
