Digital Procurement Transformation – Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design and execution of large-scale, end-to-end S2P technology transformation initiatives, serving as a solution architect to convert business needs into scalable system designs, workflows, and configurations.

• Supervise the design, configuration, and implementation of top-tier procurement and contracting platforms, including system integrations with ERP and related platforms, collaborating with technical teams to ensure smooth data and process flows.

• Discover and promote opportunities for automation, digitization, and AI integration, embedding innovation into fundamental procurement processes and facilitating ongoing improvement.

• Lead cross-functional teams from PwC and client organizations, encouraging collaboration among technology, functional, and AI experts to produce cohesive transformation results.

• Assist clients in formulating their AI strategy for procurement, encompassing opportunity identification, business case development, and deployment roadmaps.

• Design and execute AI-enabled workflows and agents, ensuring integration with procurement platforms and enterprise systems.

• Oversee the daily delivery of workstreams or projects, ensuring progress, quality, and alignment with client expectations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Robust technical background (e.g., computer science, engineering, data science, or a related field) or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Proven experience in identifying and implementing AI / GenAI use cases within procurement or related fields, with a comprehensive understanding of AI workflows, agents, and automation tools (e.g., LLM-based solutions, orchestration tools, and intelligent automation).

• Experience in system configuration, solution design, and workflow automation within procurement or enterprise platforms, along with a grasp of system integrations, APIs, and data flows across enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, Finance systems).

• Familiarity with leading procurement and orchestration platforms (e.g., Coupa, SAP Ariba, Agiloft, Icertis, Zip, Oro, etc.).

• Extensive experience throughout the end-to-end S2P lifecycle, with profound expertise in P2P processes and optimization highly desirable.

• Proven history of delivering and managing teams through technology-enabled procurement transformations (from design to implementation).

• Desirable experience with data analysis, scripting, or programming (e.g., R, SQL, Python, or similar), as well as proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

• Willingness to travel as required by client needs.
