This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Japan.
• Oversee designated partner accounts and ensure consistent engagement.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with partner executives and key stakeholders.
• Achieve monthly revenue and unit objectives through partner engagement and sales support efforts.
• Offer sales and business development insights to uncover growth opportunities.
• Create strategic account plans that are in line with partner and business goals.
• Assist partners in preparing for Microsoft products, licensing, incentives, programs, and training.
• Provide ongoing pre-sales and post-sales support to designated partners.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Microsoft tools, programs, and processes.
• Aid partners in achieving solution readiness for Microsoft offerings, including AI solutions, Copilot, and associated technologies.
• Enhance sales through proactive pipeline management, deal advancement, forecasting, and marketing initiatives.
• Perform partner performance evaluations and suggest actions to enhance growth and profitability.
• Assist partners in navigating available resources, incentives, and business programs.
• Keep an eye on market trends and offer strategic advice to partners.
• Analyze and position Microsoft solutions against competing technologies.
• Train partner stakeholders on operational tools, processes, and self-service resources.
• Maintain precise records of partner interactions, opportunities, and activities in CRM systems.
• Address issues and help resolve technical or business challenges affecting partner success.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• A minimum of 4 years in partner management, channel sales, account management, business development, inside sales, or comparable roles in the technology sector.
• Experience collaborating with partners, distributors, resellers, retailers, OEMs, or channel organizations.
• Proven track record in managing revenue targets, sales quotas, pipeline development, or forecasting activities.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft solutions, products, licensing, partner programs, or cloud technologies.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
• Native proficiency in the Japanese language.
• Currently residing in Japan.
