Digital Learning Librarian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee library services and asynchronous learning support for an online community of learners.

• Create, implement, and evaluate virtual library services, instructional materials, and student support initiatives.

• Partner with instructors, instructional designers, and academic leaders to weave library resources into the learner's experience.

• Instruct and evaluate information literacy courses to enhance student research capabilities.

• Produce learning materials, tutorials, and instructional resources that bolster research and information literacy.

• Offer direct assistance to students through research consultations and instructional sessions.

• Administer digital library resources and assess content for accessibility and alignment with institutional requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS), Master of Library Science (MLS), or a comparable degree from an ALA-accredited program.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering online instruction, digital learning materials, or library services aimed at supporting remote learners.

• Background in providing virtual library services, academic support, or research assistance in online education settings.

• Evidence of the ability to create engaging instructional content and learner-centered support resources.

• Proficient technology skills, including the capacity to learn and manage various digital platforms and systems.

• Proven capability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities within a remote work setting.

• Enthusiastic, self-motivated contributor with a clear vision for library services in online learning contexts.
