Digital Innovation Co-Op – Supply Chain

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist in the development or testing of AI-driven tools that streamline supply chain processes (e.g., PO anomaly detection, logistics exception alerts).

• Aid in the prototyping of lightweight bots or agents that integrate internal tools with enterprise systems (ERP, planning platforms, Salesforce).

• Support the evaluation and testing of LLM-based assistants for operational applications.

• Contribute to the development of ML models for demand forecasting, inventory analysis, or risk detection.

• Investigate and clean supply chain datasets; conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights.

• Create dashboards or notebooks that render model outputs accessible to business teams.

• Collaborate with stakeholders in Planning, Procurement, Fulfillment, and Production Engineering to identify challenges and data requirements.

• Engage in team standups, design reviews, and sprint ceremonies.

• Share findings and project updates with the team and business partners.

• Advocate for, exemplify, and integrate Samsara’s cultural principles as we expand globally and open new offices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an accredited BS or MS program (Computer Science, Data Science, Industrial/Supply Chain Engineering, Statistics, or a related field).

• Proficient in Python for data analysis (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, or similar libraries).

• Familiarity with SQL or experience in querying structured datasets.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguous problems and iterating towards effective solutions.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
