This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of digital infrastructure projects from site selection to completion.
• Coordinate diverse design teams encompassing civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, security, environmental, and permitting disciplines.
• Manage the project's scope, timeline, budget, quality, and risk across all phases.
• Act as the main contact for clients, stakeholders, and project collaborators.
• Assist in site due diligence, feasibility assessments, and infrastructure planning tasks.
• Lead design coordination for cable landing station facilities, backhaul fiber routes, network support facilities, and associated telecommunications infrastructure.
• Coordinate utility, power, resiliency, security, and operational requirements tied to mission-critical communications facilities.
• Facilitate design workshops, technical reviews, and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
• Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure successful project results.
• Evaluate design deliverables for compliance with client needs, industry standards, and AECOM quality protocols.
• Support construction administration tasks, including responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, coordinating in the field, and providing commissioning assistance.
• Contribute to proposal creation, project pursuits, and strategic business development initiatives.
• Build and sustain robust client relationships while identifying potential opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor junior staff and aid in the ongoing development of AECOM's Digital Infrastructure practice.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8 years of pertinent experience or a proven equivalent of experience and/or education.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or similar industry certification (preferred).
• Proven experience in coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Experience in managing project timelines, budgets, and client communications.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
• Experience in telecommunications, digital infrastructure, fiber networks, mission-critical facilities, utility infrastructure, cable landing stations, broadband, carrier, network infrastructure, data center projects, or similar project delivery environments.
• Familiarity with BIM/Revit, Bluebeam, fiber network planning tools, Civil3-D, or related design technologies.
