This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take full responsibility for all events at the Company, including industry events, tradeshows, conferences, and smaller gatherings like luncheons and thought leadership discussions.
• Manage all digital event initiatives such as webinars and podcasts, serving as the host and representing the company during these occasions.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and product teams to transform booth spaces and badge scans into meetings, opportunities, and revenue.
• Attend every event in person, overseeing booth setup and teardown, troubleshooting issues on the spot, and ensuring our presence is polished from beginning to end.
• Brief team members attending events on objectives, key talking points, target accounts, and logistical details.
• Work alongside sales to schedule pre-show meetings, host dinners, and customer events on-site, ensuring that every lead is captured, qualified, and promptly followed up on.
• Collaborate with marketing on email campaigns, landing pages, paid promotions, and social media to boost booth traffic and meeting schedules leading up to the event.
• Oversee event expenditures throughout the calendar year, tracking costs, accurately forecasting, identifying risks early, and making informed trade-off decisions when priorities change.
• Establish clear KPIs for each event and create comprehensive post-event reports to analyze what was successful, what could be improved, and strategies for future events.
• 1 to 4 years of experience in event marketing, field marketing, or event coordination, preferably in B2B or technology sectors.
• Proven experience in organizing events from start to finish, including smaller-scale events.
• Experience in managing an events budget effectively.
• Proficient in defining KPIs and generating reports that link event activities to pipeline and revenue outcomes.
• A genuine interest in AI and its application for smarter work practices.
• Basic familiarity with HubSpot on the CRM side is sufficient.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Comfortable negotiating with vendors and event organizers.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Willingness and ability to travel 30% to 50% during peak event seasons across North America, with potential for travel to Europe as the company expands.
