Digital Arts Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Create the comprehensive curriculum and training resources for a two-module digital arts workshop.

• Develop Module 1 focusing on digital visual arts production, which includes digital art tools, illustration, composition, editing, effects, and artwork exporting.

• Develop Module 2 addressing online distribution, branding, digital creative business, copyright, social media, e-commerce tools, and the ethical use of AI.

• Engage qualified trainers and resource individuals.

• Organize a mentorship and peer-exchange session linking at least three established digital arts professionals with emerging artists.

• Conduct inclusive outreach to recruit approximately 15–20 participants from across Pakistan.

• Coordinate logistics including venue, equipment, registration, travel, accommodation, and subsistence with UNESCO.

• Deliver a minimum two-day hands-on, interactive workshop primarily in Urdu and/or English.

• Produce slides, toolkits, and resource guides in Urdu and/or English.

• Gather participant data and conduct pre- and post-training assessments.

• Ensure visibility for the UNESCO-KFIT project, utilizing the official logos of UNESCO and the Republic of Korea Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

• Submit an inception report, conduct the workshop, and provide a final report that includes outcomes, assessment results, feedback analysis, media, and follow-up recommendations.

• Operate under the authority of the Head of the UNESCO Office in Islamabad and under the direct supervision of the National Professional Officer, collaborating with the International Expert in Culture and Heritage.

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s degree in Digital Arts or a related field in Cultural and Creative Industries.

• A minimum of five years of demonstrated experience in Digital Arts, digital production, or digital skills training for creative professionals.

• Exceptional communication, analytical, and report-writing abilities.

• Familiarity with database software.

• Proficient in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Capable of taking initiative and setting priorities.

• Able to work effectively under pressure.

• Competent in a multicultural work environment and skilled in team collaboration.

• Fluent in both English and Urdu.

• Experience working with international organizations in the cultural sector is preferred.

• Desirable experience in gender-sensitive and inclusive outreach, facilitation, and participant support.

• Excellent skills in facilitation and adult education/non-formal training are preferred.
