Digital Architect Consultant, Professional Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the establishment and documentation of scalable front-end and digital solution architectures for Guidewire implementations in LATAM, utilizing Jutro, microfrontends, and advanced web technologies.

• Act as a hands-on technical lead for digital workstreams: produce code, set coding standards, and guarantee robust UX, performance, accessibility, and security in production solutions.

• Architect and oversee complex integrations between digital applications and Guidewire InsuranceSuite utilizing REST APIs and established patterns, ensuring reliability, observability, and maintainability.

• Offer architectural direction and technical mentoring to front-end and full-stack developers, fostering capability and consistency across customer and partner teams.

• Supervise solution design by reviewing and endorsing technical designs, reusable components, and integration methodologies to facilitate repeatable, high-quality delivery across projects.

• Define and advocate for frontend architecture patterns (e.g., component strategies, state management, microfrontend methodologies) that align with Professional Services’ priorities to minimize implementation effort and time while enhancing quality and value realization.

• Drive the adoption of reusable frameworks, accelerators, and implementation best practices for digital applications constructed with Jutro and other Guidewire technologies, contributing to Professional Services’ objectives of scalable, AI-enabled, repeatable offerings.

• Collaborate closely with Product and R&D to identify platform limitations, co-design enhancements, and provide field feedback that advances Jutro and our digital products for all customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven ability to embrace AI and apply it in your current role, along with data-driven insights to foster innovation, productivity, and continuous improvement.

• Over 5 years of software development experience in creating modern web applications utilizing contemporary frontend technologies.

• More than 3 years of hands-on experience with React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.

• Experience in architecting and delivering enterprise-scale single-page applications (SPAs).

• Familiarity with, or a strong willingness and capability to learn, Guidewire Jutro and Guidewire Digital architecture.

• Deep understanding of frontend architecture patterns, component-based design, and state management strategies.

• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs, JSON-based services, and enterprise backend systems.

• Strong grasp of authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth, SSO, and identity federation.

• Proficient in CSS, SASS, responsive design, accessibility standards, and frontend performance optimization.

• Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and tools such as Jest, Cypress, Playwright, or similar technologies.

• Working knowledge of backend technologies, integration patterns, APIs, and cloud-native application architectures.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, container technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment strategies.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across frontend, middleware, and backend layers.

• Excellent communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions with customer teams.

• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies.

• Highly motivated, innovative, and proactive problem solver with strong analytical abilities.

• Keen interest in emerging AI-assisted and agentic software development technologies and practices.

• Proficiency in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, both oral and written, is considered an asset.
