Digital and Operations Assistant, Zero Carbon Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

📋 Description

• Assist in the creation and scheduling of digital content.

• Collaborate with editorial and research teams to develop engaging content specifically designed for various social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn.

• Upload and format briefings on the website (WordPress), including image selection and inputting SEO metadata.

• Format and distribute regular research newsletters using HubSpot.

• Ensure consistency in brand tone, messaging, and visual presentation.

• Conduct digital analytics and reporting.

• Monitor social media and website analytics through platform metrics, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.

• Track media coverage of ZCA research using Brandwatch.

• Record metrics in tracking templates and highlight any notable trends or insights.

• Provide operational and project management assistance, closely collaborating with the Production Manager and Research Director, particularly during the COP period.

• Maintain databases of research outputs and project management platforms to ensure accurate documentation of project data.

• Assist with monitoring, evaluation, and impact tracking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing, with the capability to generate content according to brand guidelines.

• Proficiency in website content management systems, preferably WordPress.

• Understanding of web and social media platform analytics, including Google Analytics.

• Familiarity with mass mailing systems like HubSpot and knowledge of GDPR compliance.

• Ability to utilize project management systems for remote/digital teams, such as Trello.

• Experience with media monitoring and analysis tools, such as Brandwatch or Magnet, is advantageous, as is experience in media-focused environments, PR, or similar fields.

• Strong multitasking abilities, capacity to meet deadlines, and capability to work independently with excellent attention to detail.

• Versatile, adaptable, and possess strong communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced and diverse work environment, collaborating across time zones using tools like Slack and Google Workspace.

• Fluency in written and spoken English, which is our working language; additional language skills are a plus.

• Availability to overlap working hours with the EU/UK business day, with potential for work outside regular hours, especially during the COP31 period.
