Digital Analytics & Tracking Consultant, German & English-Speaking, GA4, GTM, eCommerce

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of sophisticated GA4 tracking implementations, including GA4 Enhanced E-commerce.

• Create, execute, and manage both client-side and server-side Google Tag Manager configurations.

• Implement and enhance Google Consent Mode.

• Ensure effective integration of Consent Management Platforms (CMPs) that are GDPR-compliant and compatible with analytics and marketing tools.

• Deliver strategic and technical analytics consulting to our German-speaking clientele.

• Work closely with our English-speaking internal tech support team to develop, refine, and continuously enhance tracking setups.

• Assist with data integrations involving BigQuery and Looker Studio, with additional support from specialized team members.

• Offer general technical assistance in Digital Analytics, Tracking, and MarTech.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of five years of practical experience in Digital Analytics, with a preference for more.

• Expert proficiency in GA4, Google Tag Manager, and Consent Management Platforms; experience with Shopify is a plus.

• Background in a pertinent digital marketing area, such as Paid Search, Paid Social, or Display Advertising.

• Essential experience with server-side Google Tag Manager.

• A comprehensive understanding of GDPR and its effects on digital tracking and data collection.

• Knowledge of BigQuery, Looker Studio, and other Google Cloud tools.

• Basic JavaScript capabilities, especially in event handling and dataLayer manipulation.

• Ability to professionally advise clients in German and communicate fluently in English with our internal team.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solution-focused attitude in a technical environment.
