This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Understand the essential elements of digital (direct response & persuasion) advertising while managing your accounts with substantial support.
• Learn the strategies of direct response advertising, focusing on both short-term and long-term ROI tracking along with the comparative advantages of major platforms and vendors.
• Develop expertise across primary advertising platforms such as Facebook and Adwords (including uploading creative assets, setting targeting parameters, making optimizations, and reporting), with a strong emphasis on Facebook direct response advertising.
• Acquire skills in list rentals and other acquisition buying methods.
• Provide suggestions on pacing and optimizations for internal strategists and teams.
• Assist with all aspects of an account, or take ownership of specific elements of a mid-sized or larger account, which includes projections, media planning, content creation, ad testing, trafficking, optimization, reporting, CRM management, client communication, and cost tracking.
• When suitable, shadow-manage an account (oversee with a significant level of support after mastering the fundamentals).
• Attain a foundational understanding of persuasion programs, or experience in supporting such programs.
• A minimum of one cycle of experience as part of a digital team within a political campaign, political organization, or political firm.
• Proficiency with CRMs such as ActionKit, NGP, or Action Network, along with familiarity with ActBlue.
• Understanding of A/B testing and result measurement.
• Knowledge of broadcast, peer-to-peer, or texting tools would be advantageous, but not mandatory.
• A high level of competency in HTML is essential; experience with CSS is a plus.
• Skills in Excel and Photoshop would be beneficial but are not required.
• A strong desire to learn the intricacies of managing a comprehensive digital engagement program and a willingness to explore innovative approaches not typically seen in the industry.
