This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia.
• As an advertising intern at Middle Seat, you will collaborate with the advertising team by trafficking ads, composing ad copy and petitions, compiling reports, analyzing ad performance, managing various administrative tasks, and fulfilling additional responsibilities as needed.
• Engage in teamwork with the advertising team.
• You are enthusiastic about working with left-wing and Democratic clients to create impactful grassroots work.
• You appreciate the opportunity to experiment with different creative approaches and evaluate the performance data for each variant.
• You possess technical skills and can quickly adapt to new tools.
• You are detail-oriented and well-organized.
• You are a senior in your final year of an undergraduate program or a recent graduate.
• A background in social media management or digital advertising would be advantageous.
• Previous experience with a political campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofit would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads would be a plus.
• Exceptional writing skills are a significant asset.
• A commitment to supporting left-of-the-left political candidates and causes is essential.
• Being a team player is crucial.
• Staying updated with current news and having a solid grasp of the U.S. political system, political campaigns, and key progressive issues (such as abortion, racial justice, labor, climate change, etc.) is essential.
• This position requires full-time (40 hours per week) or near full-time availability.
• It is essential that you reside in the United States.
• We provide a salary of $23 per hour.
