Digital Accessibility Coordinator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Direct the establishment of best practices for accessibility technology.

• Supervise the adoption of innovative technologies pertinent to accessibility.

• Offer consulting expertise on accessibility matters to university personnel.

• Foster and sustain collaborations to promote accessibility initiatives.

• Create and execute training programs on accessibility standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.

• Five years of relevant experience, which includes two years in project administration.

• At least three years of experience within the digital accessibility domain.

• Minimum of three years of direct experience with accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG 2.+, Section 508, ARIA).

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Certification as a Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) or Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC).
