Dietitian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Deliver comprehensive nutritional and lifestyle education to patients through telehealth to improve their health and lower healthcare expenses.

• Collaborate closely with patients to facilitate and sustain healthy weight loss.

• Direct patients to suitable community resources that support their health journey.

• Evaluate nutritional and lifestyle outcomes, creating meaningful reports to monitor progress.

• Develop and convey clinical recommendations and visit summaries to both healthcare providers and patients.

• Actively identify and resolve barriers to effective patient care.

• Collaborate with departments to utilize technology and health information for improved patient outcomes.

• Present clinical reports and presentations alongside the account manager, educating clients on their benefit plans.

• Inform clients about clinical programs and solutions to enhance adoption and implementation.

• Organize, plan, and manage tasks as assigned by the Clinical Innovation Pharmacist.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• Registered Dietitian Certification (CDR) is required.

• State Certification or Licensure is necessary.

• Significant experience in counseling individuals in an outpatient environment with complex disease states to avert complications.

• Knowledge of current treatment standards and options for prevalent metabolic conditions, including diabetes and obesity.

• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with experience in creating and updating Excel spreadsheets.

• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in identifying patient diet and lifestyle obstacles and crafting strategies to overcome them.

• Extensive experience in patient education and engagement.

• Willingness to travel is required.
