This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Interpretation of various radiology studies, including MR, CT, ultrasound, radiographs, and occasional nuclear medicine examinations.
• The majority of readings (over 80%) consist of x-rays and CT scans.
• Offers a flexible schedule of 42 weeks per year, encompassing daytime, afternoon, and evening shifts, as well as some weekend on-call shifts.
• Responsible for teaching and managing a Graduate Medical Education (GME) radiology residency program at Aventura Hospital, which currently has 22 residents and is projected to expand to 28 by 2027.
• Collaborate with internal teams and provide cross-coverage as necessary.
• Board certification or eligibility in Radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABMS-BC/BE).
• Must possess an MD or DO degree.
• If board eligible, a plan to sit for the Boards must be established.
• Active and unrestricted medical license, with eligibility for licensure in Florida.
• Must be eligible and capable of obtaining a DEA license in Florida.
• Proficient in all facets of diagnostic radiology.
