DevSecOps Platform Leader, API Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Belgium.

• Monitor performance and security, respond swiftly to risks, and pursue continuous improvement.

• Spearhead cloud-native and microservices transformations that ensure the platform landscape is future-proof.

• Inspire and mentor engineers and specialists to foster a culture of automation, ownership, and innovation.

• Investigate new tools, challenge existing norms, and enhance platform capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess a master’s degree in IT, Information Security, or a related discipline.

• You have over 8 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or API management, including more than 3 years in a leadership position.

• You design and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or ArgoCD.

• You are proficient with Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM, and implement GitOps and policy-as-code.

• You embed security within development, covering areas from code scanning to container security and secrets management.

• You oversee API platforms like Apigee, Kong, Azure API Management, AWS API Gateway, or MuleSoft.

• You have a solid understanding of API design, authentication (OAuth2, JWT, mTLS), and governance.

• You build in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and service meshes.

• You utilize observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic.

• Certifications like CKA, AWS DevOps Engineer, CISSP, or API platform certifications enhance your profile.

• You demonstrate initiative, challenge conventional ideas, and consistently drive progress. You blend vision with execution.
