DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Assists in the planning, analysis, and execution of tasks necessary for transitioning federal government applications to the CyberArk Privileged Access Management (PAM) platform.

• Offers technical insights regarding the current state of application environments.

• Confirms the feasibility of implementations, identifies dependencies and operational limitations, and aids in the creation of technical requirements and migration documentation.

• Works closely with Solution Architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, database administrators, cloud engineers, and cybersecurity stakeholders.

• Examines how applications currently utilize privileged accounts, credentials, and secrets.

• Reviews service account usage, evaluates the effects of changes in credential management, and identifies integration needs.

• Records system behaviors and operational dependencies related to CyberArk onboarding tasks.

• Engages in technical discovery sessions, assists in requirements analysis, and reviews Jira epics and user stories.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.

• Alternatively, 2 additional years of experience with an Associate’s Degree.

• Or, 4 additional years of experience with a high school diploma.

• Proven experience in supporting DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering, application support, or system administration in enterprise settings.

• Basic knowledge of privileged access management (PAM), credential management, or best practices in cybersecurity.

• Experience in analyzing application configurations, service accounts, authentication methods, or infrastructure dependencies.

• Experience in supporting technical documentation and conducting requirements analysis.

• Familiarity with cloud environments and secret management solutions such as AWS Secrets Manager.

• Knowledge of scripting, automation, CI/CD pipelines, or concepts related to infrastructure automation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational capabilities.

• Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively across technical and operational teams.
