DevSecOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will oversee and maintain our server infrastructure.

• You will handle internal monitoring processes.

• You are accountable for the continuous development and upkeep of the IT infrastructure.

• You will manage our infrastructure using code (e.g., with Terraform, Ansible).

• You will incorporate security checks directly into our CI/CD pipelines (adopting a shift-left approach) and enhance them continuously.

• You will conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.

• You will manage sensitive information and ensure the secure handling of credentials.

• You will ensure adherence to security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, GDPR).

• You will perform threat modeling and evaluate security risks early in the process.

• You will document procedures and infrastructure components.

• You will stay updated on current trends and introduce new tools and best practices.

• You will provide guidance to colleagues on security-related matters.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have completed vocational training or earned a degree in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics) — or possess equivalent practical experience.

• You possess strong knowledge in administering Linux servers.

• You are familiar with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and their secure management.

• You have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).

• You have experience with cloud service providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

• You have knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

• You have a solid understanding of networks, firewalls, and common security concepts.
