This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, implement, and oversee CI/CD pipelines for automating build, test, and deployment processes.
• Develop and manage Docker and Kubernetes deployments within the AWS GovCloud environment.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate automated security scans and compliance checks in accordance with DoD RMF and DISA STIG standards.
• Support continuous monitoring and logging using AWS CloudWatch, GuardDuty, Nessus, ACAS, and various vulnerability management tools.
• Collaborate with development and cybersecurity teams to enhance secure coding practices and establish Zero Trust architecture.
• Create and maintain DevSecOps plans, playbooks, and operational procedures.
• Lead the performance optimization, scalability planning, and incident response for CI/CD infrastructure.
• Manage AWS CodeCommit repositories, ensuring secure branching, versioning, and release management.
• Coordinate with system administrators regarding network, storage, and compute resources.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and work towards achieving DevSecOps sprint goals.
• Assist in system authorization and ATO compliance documentation per DoDI 8510.01 (RMF).
• Must possess an active Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in DevSecOps, software automation, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Experience in supporting secure cloud-based development environments in AWS GovCloud or DoD-accredited platforms.
• Proficient understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust, RMF, and DISA STIG compliance requirements.
• Practical experience with CloudWatch, ELK Stack, and Prometheus.
• Scripting expertise in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience in integrating static code analysis, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management within build pipelines.
• Preferred certifications include: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional; CompTIA Security+ CE or an equivalent DoD 8570 certification; Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Docker Certified Associate (DCA).
• Strong skills in collaboration, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication.
