This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, construct, and oversee secure CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications and services.
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code with tools like Terraform to provision and manage cloud resources.
• Embed security controls and best practices within the software development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
• Aid in the deployment and management of containerized workloads and cloud-native data pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to execute scalable, secure, and resilient system designs.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across diverse environments.
• Assist in vulnerability management, remediation efforts, and secure configuration practices.
• Implement and sustain cloud security controls, identity management, and access policies.
• Monitor system performance, reliability, and security posture across various environments.
• Contribute to technical documentation, runbooks, and system configurations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery meets mission needs and compliance standards.
• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps or DevSecOps engineering roles.
• Proficient in working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud environments.
• Extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or equivalent tools).
• Practical experience with containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure software development methodologies.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, identity, and access management concepts.
• Experience with Linux-based systems (Red Hat).
• Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI).
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and secure configuration practices.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and capacity to collaborate with diverse teams.
• CompTIA Security+ certification is required (or the ability to obtain it within 30 days of hire).
