This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Foster a DevOps culture within the project, promoting process automation.

• Develop and sustain infrastructure as code.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines.

• Provide support for cloud environments.

• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of applications and platforms.

• Contribute to a streamlined and agile development process.

• Design and maintain backend applications utilizing Java.

• Oversee and automate infrastructure in cloud settings (AWS and Azure).

• Administer, monitor, and enhance development, staging, and production environments.

• Create and manage containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Manage web servers and both relational and non-relational databases.

• Develop and uphold monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting solutions.

• Ensure security in environments by applying DevSecOps practices.

• Conduct incident analysis, resolve problems, and facilitate continuous system enhancements.

• Engage in rollouts, deployments, and modifications in production environments.

• Share technical expertise and assist in the growth of development and operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in Java development for enterprise applications and REST APIs.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and culture.

• Experience with Kubernetes (administration, deployment, troubleshooting, and workload management).

• Knowledge of Docker and application containerization.

• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and CloudFormation).

• Understanding of AWS Cloud (infrastructure services, networking, security, and monitoring).

• Experience with Azure Cloud (Azure Portal, infrastructure resources, and observability).

• Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, TeamCity, or similar).

• Proficient in version control using Git, GitHub, and Bitbucket.

• Skilled in the administration and configuration of web servers (Nginx).

• Experience with database administration: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

• Ability in task automation with Shell scripting and/or PowerShell.

• Monitoring and observability expertise for production environments.

• Knowledge of security practices applied throughout the DevOps lifecycle (DevSecOps).

• Experience in API Management (APIM).

• Proficient in API governance and documentation using OpenAPI.

• Understanding of APIOps.

• Familiarity with change management and operational processes utilizing ServiceNow.

• Capable of troubleshooting applications, infrastructure, and pipelines.

• Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, and Lean).
