This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop, script, test, and implement Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native API commands utilizing automation and orchestration tools.
• Construct, script, and validate Compliance as Code for enforcing security configurations on cloud resources.
• Offer cloud service expertise for cloud-deployed applications and support developers with cloud-service integration.
• Ensure the security of cloud services and application resources in alignment with industry standards and best practices from cloud providers.
• Gather and present evidence for compliance with security baselines.
• Create operating instructions and document Infrastructure as Code processes.
• Evaluate system capabilities and address inquiries regarding IaC intent, outputs, inputs, programming techniques, and controls.
• Collaborate within an Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using two- to three-week sprints, daily scrums, and sprint tracking tools.
• Develop and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for the construction, testing, scanning, and deployment of code.
• Analyze findings from automated security tools such as SAST, DAST, and software composition analysis.
• Address vulnerabilities within designated timeframes.
• Implement secure coding practices in accordance with OWASP guidelines and relevant DoD requirements, including pertinent STIGs.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Public Trust/NACI position.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Active CompTIA Security+ CE or another relevant 8570 IAT Level II certification is required.
• A minimum of 10 years of related experience is needed.
• Experience in deploying and configuring cloud infrastructure in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, application refactoring, database migration, and SaaS integration is required.
• Proficient in scripting with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, Ansible, and JFrog Artifactory.
• Knowledge of Git/Gitbash, Git etiquette, and branching strategies.
• Proficient in AWS services such as Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
• Background in configuring and securing cloud-based networking is required.
• Understanding of Docker or a similar containerization platform, including container lifecycle, configuration, and maintenance.
• Ability to deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes, including EKS, AKS, or self-managed clusters.
