This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and manage CI/CD pipelines that facilitate automated building, testing, security scanning, and deployment.
• Provision and oversee cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production settings.
• Design, maintain, and resolve issues related to deployment configurations utilizing Helm and Kubernetes manifests.
• Develop, manage, and troubleshoot Helm releases via Rancher Fleet and Palantir Apollo, including database migration tasks.
• Deploy and support containerized applications utilizing Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards for enhanced visibility.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure, networking, configuration, container, and deployment challenges.
• Assist in incident response, rollback procedures, recovery efforts, and root-cause analysis.
• Manage application configurations, secrets, certificates, and deployment dependencies effectively.
• Collaborate with developers and cybersecurity engineers to enhance reliability, security, and delivery workflows.
• Maintain comprehensive deployment documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies and support SHEPRD releases and operational events.
• Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, or related fields.
• Familiarity with CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience in deploying and supporting applications within AWS, Azure, or similar cloud environments.
• Strong practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Rancher.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, PowerShell, or others.
• Solid understanding of cloud networking, DNS, load balancing, TLS, and application connectivity.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation abilities.
• Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for a U.S. Government security clearance; only U.S. Citizens qualify for a security clearance.
• Occasional CONUS travel may be required, up to 25%.
