• Provide clarity in uncertain situations by outlining requirements, assumptions, and subsequent steps.
• Take full ownership of automation projects from start to finish (design → rollout → maintenance).
• Enhance operational efficiency: fortify and fine-tune systems while also improving the team's operational practices.
• Maintain the platform's stability, speed, and security, including servers, web servers, databases, and queues.
• Investigate production incidents across OS, networking, and infrastructure layers, implement temporary solutions, collaborate with developers, and engage in post-mortem analyses.
• Participate in on-call duty rotations.
• Leverage AI in all daily activities: research, troubleshooting, and development.
• Over 4 years of experience in a DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer role (or closely related responsibilities).
• Genuine, hands-on experience with servers (both VMs and bare metal) at the operating system level and below: configuring, troubleshooting, and investigating "why it's broken."
• Strong Linux skills (we utilize Ubuntu). You should be proficient with the essential tools from Linux Crisis Tools.
• Solid grasp of networking fundamentals; capable of configuring and troubleshooting iptables.
• Proficient in Ansible and Git.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting for automation and observability tasks.
• Experience in production/on-call roles: diagnosing incidents, restoring services, and participating in post-mortem evaluations.
• Strong sense of ownership and meticulous attention to detail. Downtime is costly: five years ago, 10 minutes of downtime cost us $100k — today, it's even more.
• 31 days of annual leave.
• Fully covered telemedicine plan.
• Home Office Setup Assistance: support for purchasing furniture (office chair, desk, monitor) and other items to create an optimal working environment.
• English language learning courses.
• Opportunities for relevant professional education.
• Access to a gym or swimming pool.
• Co-working space availability.
• Flexible remote working options.
