DevOps Engineer – Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the DevOps Team on operations tickets and project task management.

• Engage with the Engineering team to implement significant changes for customers.

• Automate operational processes and server provisioning workflows utilizing AWS CloudFormation Templates (CFT).

• Share duties in deploying releases and performing other maintenance operations.

• Improve operational infrastructure, including Jenkins clusters, Bitbucket, monitoring tools (Consul), and metrics tools like Graphite and Grafana.

• Offer operational support to the broader Engineering team.

• Assist in transitioning our remaining dedicated hardware infrastructure to the cloud.

⛳️ Requirements

• Fundamental understanding of version control systems (git).

• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with Snowflake concepts.

• Understanding or experience with software build tools (Maven, Gradle) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins).

• Experience supporting Java-based applications in a production environment is essential.

• Basic understanding of Linux environments and scripting languages such as bash, Python, or Groovy.
