DevOps Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and provide support for both production and non-production application environments.

• Offer administrative support for PeopleSoft and manage the infrastructure for PeopleSoft and other systems/platforms.

• Install and refresh both production and non-production environments.

• Resolve issues in these environments as reported by application and testing teams.

• Actively monitor system health, availability, performance, and capacity.

• Diagnose complex infrastructure and application problems and apply corrective measures.

• Design, create, configure, and deploy new application and infrastructure environments.

• Develop and sustain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions along with automation frameworks.

• Support Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and adhere to DevOps best practices.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps Engineers and support personnel.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, DevOps engineering, or software development.

• Extensive experience managing both Windows and Linux server environments.

• Familiarity with supporting large-scale enterprise applications in production settings.

• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of VMware or similar virtualization technologies.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
