DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

📋 Description

• Automate the processes of application builds utilizing Azure DevOps and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

• Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment speed, reliability, and overall quality.

• Troubleshoot applications and infrastructure resources hosted on Google platforms.

• Design and implement resilient Infrastructure as Code for the Cloud, leveraging automation tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and Ansible.

• Manage cloud-based infrastructure and services with a strong emphasis on efficiency and scalability.

• Implement and support front-end web configurations using solutions like Front Door, Application Gateway, and WAF.

• Automate the deployment of application code using DevOps YAML pipelines.

• Implement security best practices, which include access controls, encryption, and vulnerability scanning to safeguard company data and systems.

• Work within an Agile environment to assist individuals in adopting proper DevOps practices.

• Provide support to development and data services teams by addressing technical inquiries related to continuous integration/continuous delivery and delivery organizations.

• Offer technical assistance to development and data services teams concerning best practices and processes in continuous integration and continuous delivery.

• Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of experience in DevOps, particularly in cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline management.

• Significant experience with Openshift is essential.

• A deep understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, encompassing infrastructure provisioning and automation.

• Proficient in PowerShell scripting and skilled in reading and analyzing web technologies like JSON, YAML, .Net, and Java configuration files and pipeline flows.

• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging abilities.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Proven experience in the banking industry is preferred.
