DevOps Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Assist in overseeing multiregion and multicloud infrastructure, ensuring resilience, scalability, and optimal performance.

• Support the provisioning and deployment of infrastructure mainly on GCP, while also gaining experience with other cloud providers.

• Design, implement, and maintain agentic AI workflows and automation systems, incorporating LLMs, orchestration frameworks, APIs, and observability tools to enhance operational efficiency, incident response, and developer productivity.

• Collaborate with development teams to design and sustain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI.

• Engage in Kubernetes cluster management (GKE and possibly other managed Kubernetes offerings).

• Contribute to GitOps-based deployments utilizing ArgoCD.

• Assist in automating infrastructure using Terraform and other infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Monitor system health and participate in the on-call rotation, aiding in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to boost reliability.

• Document processes, create runbooks, and contribute to enhancing operational practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• 3-6 years of relevant hands-on experience in DevOps, SRE, or similar roles.

• Strong foundation in Linux/Unix administration and basic networking.

• Practical experience with public cloud services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, IAM, VPC, etc.).

• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and ArgoCD for GitOps workflows.

• Interest or experience in multicloud and multiregion architectures.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or Go.

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or GCP Cloud Monitoring/Logging).

• Understanding of distributed systems design and global traffic management.

• Awareness of security and compliance best practices in a cloud-native setting.
