DevOps Engineer – Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Lead Cloud Migration: Take charge of migrating workloads from AWS to Azure utilizing an AKS-first (Azure Kubernetes Service) approach.

• Infrastructure as Code: Develop and implement robust Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Azure environments.

• Pipeline Standardization: Transition, enhance, and standardize CI/CD pipelines.

• Architecture Modernization: Revamp legacy infrastructure into cloud-native architectures on Azure.

• Risk Mitigation: Design efficient downtime and rollback plans to ensure minimal disruption during the migration process.

• Environment Optimization: Continuously refine cloud environments to improve cost-efficiency, performance, and scalability.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering teams to innovate deployment workflows.

• Documentation: Record migration patterns and create reusable templates for the wider team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of focused experience in DevOps and Cloud engineering.

• Strong practical knowledge of both Azure (AKS, networking, IAM, monitoring) and AWS (EC2, EKS, IAM, networking).

• Proven track record with Infrastructure as Code (preferably Terraform) and CI/CD platforms (such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

• Demonstrated history of executing significant, real-world cloud migrations.

• Nice-to-Have Qualifications: Experience in multi-cloud strategies and infrastructure consolidation.

• Extensive knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with cloud cost optimization tools, strategies, security, and compliance standards.

• Exposure to contemporary platform engineering concepts.
