This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Evaluate and analyze existing legacy CI/CD pipelines to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and manual workflows.
• Create and implement contemporary CI/CD pipelines that incorporate automated testing, security checks, and enhanced deployment processes.
• Transition current infrastructure and build processes to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing AWS CloudFormation.
• Establish and standardize "golden paths" for build and deployment workflows across various environments.
• Enhance pipeline observability through effective logging, monitoring, and alerting to provide quick and actionable feedback.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to boost build reliability and confidence in deployments.
• Take ownership of CI/CD improvements from inception through to production rollout.
• Actively participate in refining DevOps practices, tools, and engineering efficiency.
• 3–5 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Expertise in scripting and automation with Python, Bash, and C#.
• Strong coding skills in Python and C#.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using AWS CloudFormation (mandatory).
• Demonstrated experience in modernizing or migrating legacy CI/CD pipelines.
• Significant hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps).
• Solid familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, build optimization, and deployment strategies.
• Experience dealing with legacy systems (custom scripts, XML configurations, manual processes).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently.
• Clear and confident communication skills in English.
• Nice to Have:
• Experience in implementing security scanning and compliance checks within CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of secrets management and state handling in DevOps environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Experience in high-availability or production-critical settings.
• Previous involvement in defining DevOps standards or platform best practices.
