DevOps Engineer, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with software developers, system administrators, and various stakeholders to comprehend project requirements and goals.

• Work together on the design, execution, and upkeep of continuous integration and delivery pipelines.

• Develop and sustain detailed documentation for systems, processes, and configurations.

• Design, execute, and oversee automation processes for software builds, deployments, and configurations.

• Assess, choose, and implement tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of development and deployment workflows.

• Oversee and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure to guarantee scalability, reliability, and security.

• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) utilizing tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, and others.

• Create and uphold CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery workflow, encompassing build, test, and deployment stages.

• Develop and deploy monitoring solutions using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to ensure system and application health and performance.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues related to system performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Enforce security best practices in infrastructure and application deployment, including Azure AD, Key Vault, and Network Security Groups.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company security protocols.

• Provide support to development and operations teams, tackling issues concerning build failures, deployment challenges, and system outages.

• Participate in an on-call rotation to address and resolve critical incidents.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with Azure services including App Services, Functions, AKS, Storage, SQL Database, and Monitor.

• Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a comparable role.

• Strong command of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Comprehensive understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Practical experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

• Solid grasp of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.

• Current or expired certification in at least one of the following: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Network Engineer Associate, Azure Developer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert.
