DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• As a DevOps Engineer, you will be an integral member of our infrastructure team, collaborating closely with backend, frontend, and microservice developers.

• You will design our CI/CD processes, enhance our infrastructure, and ensure that our platform remains stable, scalable, and performs efficiently.

• Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines to guarantee automated, seamless build, test, and deployment procedures.

• Alongside the team, you will facilitate the migration of our platform from a monolithic structure to a service-oriented architecture.

• You will monitor and optimize our systems for performance, availability, and security.

• Your work will involve utilizing containers and orchestrating our services with the HashiCorp stack (Consul, Nomad, Vault, Terraform/Terragrunt).

• In close collaboration with developers, you will plan our infrastructure roadmap and incorporate new tools as necessary.

• You will actively participate in reviews, retrospectives, and contribute to the technical evolution of our DevOps processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• A number of years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or similar roles.

• Proficiency with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform).

• A thorough understanding of performance, scalability, and security in distributed systems.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools, along with the capability to convert insights into actionable optimizations.

• A team player who engages actively in technical discussions and takes ownership of your responsibilities.

• Very good German language skills (at least C1) are mandatory.
