DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the design, architecture, and management of CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions or similar tools.

• Establish test-driven deployment systems featuring automated testing, validation, and monitoring.

• Containerize applications and microservices using Docker, while optimizing image builds.

• Oversee deployment pipelines tailored for distributed environments.

• Supervise the build, packaging, and publication lifecycles for JavaScript, TypeScript, and C++ packages.

• Manage versioning, semantic tagging, and the publication of packages to NPM or internal registries.

• Design and maintain cross-platform build pipelines with CMake or equivalent tools.

• Ensure uniform compilation and release workflows across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.

• Automate the processes of tagging, building, signing, and distributing mobile, web, and desktop applications.

• Define and manage Infrastructure as Code to provision infrastructure that is reliable, scalable, and secure.

• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to address deployment challenges and enhance release reliability.

• Enhance observability and feedback loops through monitoring and alerting systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 3 years of practical experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or comparable tools in a large-scale production setting.

• Strong expertise in test-driven deployment methodologies, including the ability to write and maintain automated test suites for integration and end-to-end validation.

• Proficient in containerization technologies, particularly Docker, encompassing image creation, registry management, and fundamental orchestration patterns.

• Experience in managing package lifecycles for JavaScript and TypeScript, covering versioning, compilation, semantic tagging, and publication workflows to NPM.

• Extensive knowledge of C++ build systems, specifically CMake, with a proven track record of optimizing native build and deployment pipelines.

• Advanced skills in Linux system administration and networking, including shell scripting, package management, performance troubleshooting, firewalls, and VPN configuration.

• Exceptional English communication skills.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience with mobile CI/CD automation for iOS and Android applications.

• Advanced understanding of release management practices, including automated versioning, signing, and artifact distribution.

• Preferred: Familiarity with observability and monitoring systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.

• Preferred: Background in high-availability, security-sensitive environments, particularly in fintech, blockchain, or distributed systems.

• Preferred: Experience in deploying and managing blockchain-based applications.

• Preferred: Exposure to AI/ML pipelines using PyTorch or TensorFlow.
