DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Develop secure and dependable infrastructure to monitor, identify, and address performance and security challenges.

• Conduct system administration tasks for Linux servers, ensuring proactive daily management of the health, stability, and availability of system infrastructure.

• Generate and uphold procedural and technical documentation related to systems.

• Keep current and enhance knowledge of peer-to-peer networking security best practices.

• Formulate, sustain, and communicate threat models and risk assessments for all operational systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• You possess experience as a DevOps/SRE/Infrastructure engineer.

• You are capable of programming in one or more languages such as Python, GoLang, Bash, or JavaScript.

• You have experience in managing server infrastructures that require high availability.

• You have designed secure networks, systems, and application architectures.

• You have established and maintained software in both on-premises data centers and cloud environments.

• You possess a comprehensive understanding of sockets, the complete networking stack, and Linux security.

• You have expertise in creating automation and CI/CD processes and tools.

• You are experienced with Docker, Kubernetes, and other cloud deployment technologies.

• You exhibit flexibility, teamwork, and comfort with ambiguity, demonstrating the ability to take initiative and achieve results despite uncertainties.

• It would be advantageous to have:

• An understanding of the blockchain domain and blockchain technology.

• Knowledge of cryptography and security best practices.

• Contributions to open-source communities.
