This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Costa Rica.

• Create and implement tools and technologies for provisioning and configuring an enterprise software system hosted on Kubernetes.

• Design and establish architecture and networking solutions within the Azure platform.

• Automate and script existing processes utilizing languages such as Python and Bash.

• Provision, configure, and maintain cloud resources using Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Monitor the application environment proactively and respond to incidents effectively.

• Perform root cause analysis for incidents occurring in production.

• Manage cloud infrastructure and suggest potential enhancements to technology or processes.

• Participate in team planning to address engineering challenges.

• Serve as a reliable and highly skilled resource for development, providing education and conducting code reviews for peers.

• Maintain a broad understanding of related projects and industry trends, promoting innovative practices among team members.

• Offer detailed feedback and recommendations during team code reviews.

• Document and present solutions through comprehensive written documentation, diagrams, and well-structured code.

• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes Container Orchestration and Docker.

• 3+ years of experience with Azure cloud infrastructure.

• 3+ years of experience in system monitoring and alerting, with data-driven system improvements using DataDog and/or Grafana.

• 3+ years of experience in supporting, configuring, and deploying RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.

• 3+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, or Harness.

• 3+ years of experience in supporting customer-facing web-delivered software.

• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux Bash and experience with Python.

• Strong communication skills in English.
