DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Serbia.

📋 Description

• Create and develop internal tools and services using Go;

• Assist with deployment automation and manage an internal developer platform;

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitLab CI/CD;

• Enhance and support environments based on Kubernetes;

• Contribute to the advancement of the internal deployment platform (Packman);

• Optimize stage and ephemeral environments for better performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness;

• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible;

• Enhance observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting;

• Work together with engineering teams to improve developer experience and delivery speed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in Go (Golang) with production-level experience;

• 3–5+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering positions;

• Extensive hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production settings;

• Strong background with CI/CD tools (preferably GitLab CI/CD);

• Solid Linux administration skills;

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible);

• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics);

• Good grasp of modern DevOps practices and the software delivery lifecycle;

• Strong ownership mentality;

• Ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional, distributed team.
