DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and sustain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate dependable and automated build, test, and deployment workflows.

• Automate infrastructure provisioning and environment setup using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to guarantee consistency, scalability, and maintainability.

• Oversee and enhance containerized environments.

• Support and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Monitor application performance and infrastructure health while proactively identifying and resolving performance, availability, and security challenges.

• Work closely with development teams to enhance deployment frequency, minimize lead time, and improve system stability.

• Incorporate security best practices into development and deployment workflows (DevSecOps approach).

• Assist in establishing standards, documentation, and best practices throughout development and operations.

• Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis across applications, infrastructure, and environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar capacity.

• Extensive experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

• Solid practical experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

• Strong understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).

• Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Azure Monitor, Prometheus, ELK stack, or similar).

• Experience with workflow automation and job scheduling tools.

• Preferred: experience as a Microsoft .NET developer and knowledge of technologies such as Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, and API Management solutions.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
