DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• **Primarily, your responsibilities will include:**

• - Coordinating a sophisticated ecosystem of products utilizing Java Spring, React.js, Node.js, Serverless, GraphQL, Postgres SQL, Mongo DB, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.

• - Developing CI/CD infrastructure that spans continents.

• - Overseeing the efficient use of software and tools across various organizations.

• - Innovating to maintain continuous uptime and resilience of the infrastructure.

• **Occasionally, you may need to:**

• - Manage Amazon Cloud (AWS) environments, including Debian Linux, EC2, RDS, Elastic Load Balancers, etc.

• - Develop deployment scripts for Jenkins using Bash, Ansible, or other tools.

• - Administer web environments with nginx Web Server.

• - Familiarity with Java environments, including Maven, is advantageous.

• - Manage networking aspects such as ports and security groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• **We are looking for a successful candidate to possess:**

• - Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies.

• - Experience with the AWS stack, including EC2, S3, CloudFront, RDS, Lambda, serverless, and more.

• - Proven expertise with Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins (or similar tools).

• - Experience in database management.

• - Proficient knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• - A collaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge among team members.

• - Excellent communication skills and a passion for CI/CD.

• - Experience working within Agile teams (SCRUM, Kanban).

• - Proficient English skills (written is essential, spoken is a plus).

• **Preferred qualifications:**

• - Some experience in software development.

• - Experience in team management.

• - Experience in optimizing software licensing.
