This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

• Design, create, and manage dependable and scalable systems.

• Proactively develop automation for both infrastructure and operational processes.

• Engage in and lead incident response activities.

• Continuously evaluate and enhance system performance and cost-efficiency.

• Practical experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices in a production environment.

• Extensive knowledge of AWS services.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes, networking, DNS, and Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi preferred, Terraform is also valuable).

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles, focusing on code quality and maintainability.

• Proficient in Python with a comprehensive understanding of the Python ecosystem (including testing, debugging, and packaging).

• Expertise in Reliability, Data & Operations, including stakeholder engagement and mentoring.

• Experience in operating within highly regulated sectors (such as Insurance, Banking, Healthcare).

• In-depth understanding of microservices architectures and related technologies (RabbitMQ, Kafka, PostgreSQL, Redis).

• Practical experience with Datadog for monitoring platforms and applications.
