DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Estonia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS and GCP.

• Develop and manage continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.

• Automate the provisioning of infrastructure and deployment of applications using Terraform.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency.

• Collaborate with developers and operations teams to facilitate smooth release cycles.

• Enforce security best practices for managing resources in AWS and GCP.

• Address system outages or issues by providing troubleshooting and support.

• Keep clear and comprehensive documentation regarding infrastructure, processes, and procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical experience in DevOps.

• Minimum of 3 years working specifically with AWS services.

• Hands-on experience with supporting GCP infrastructure and services.

• Understanding of Azure fundamentals.

• Expert proficiency in Terraform.

• Extensive experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

• High level of expertise in GitHub Actions.

• Proficient in at least one scripting language, such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.

• Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting tools across AWS and GCP.

• Familiarity with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics.

• Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

• In-depth understanding of AWS and GCP cloud security principles.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.

• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
