• Advocate for and streamline Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) methodologies within our engineering team of over 300 professionals.
• Actively seek out opportunities to enhance reliability and performance rather than merely responding to incidents.
• Establish and refine standards for performance, metrics, and observability, including SLIs/SLOs, monitoring frameworks, and alerting strategies.
• Efficiently scale production resources while maintaining resilience and awareness of costs.
• Design, implement, and continuously refine tooling and monitoring systems.
• Contribute to the formulation of engineering guidelines and best practices focused on reliability and production excellence.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Backend, Security, and Platform teams to integrate reliability into the design process.
• Proven experience with cloud environments, specifically AWS.
• Background in developing and enhancing observability and monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk, or similar tools).
• Experience in scaling production systems and web applications, including asynchronous job systems.
• Familiarity with high-growth or product-oriented environments.
• Demonstrated capability to influence engineering teams and implement reliability practices at scale.
