This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Management and ongoing enhancement of the build/DevOps environment.
• Maintenance and support of our DevOps servers, including updates and expansions.
• Administration of our build servers to ensure a stable runtime environment.
• Accountability for the availability, currency, and technical consistency of the build toolchain.
• Engineering of CI/CD and pipeline processes.
• Development, modification, and upkeep of build pipelines using XAML and YAML.
• Investigation of build issues and long-term troubleshooting.
• Enhancement of build processes to boost stability and repeatability.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting of releases/builds.
• Oversight and validation of nightly builds.
• Examination of issues related to INTEGRA® updates.
• Formulation of technical adjustments to the build process and environment.
• Management of releases and closure processes.
• System administration and tool operations.
• Expertise in DevOps and Visual SourceSafe.
• Assistance with test and update installations and databases (MS-SQL and ORACLE).
• Management of signatures and certificates (e.g., for builds/artifacts).
• Maintenance of online assistance resources.
• Support and quality assurance for INTEGRA® tools/utils.
• Management of licenses and versions.
• Responsibility for license management and the technical provisioning of Delphi and ER/Studio.
• Support and maintenance of development environments.
• Automation and scripting capabilities.
• Development and maintenance of automation solutions using PowerShell and Batch.
• Adjustments within the daily deployment environment, including FTP-related tasks.
• Documentation and quality assurance efforts.
• Creation of technical documentation for tools, extensions, and procedures.
• Conducting tool evaluations and assisting in the stabilization of new extensions.
• Hands-on experience managing technical infrastructure in a development setting (build servers, toolchains, CI/CD).
• Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps (formerly Team Foundation Server) and, ideally, Microsoft Visual SourceSafe.
• Strong proficiency in PowerShell and considerable experience with Batch scripting.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (XAML/YAML) and build/release workflows.
• Knowledge of Windows-based build environments and traditional toolchains.
• Structured and detail-oriented approach to analysis and troubleshooting.
• Ability to document technical subjects clearly, making them traceable and reproducible.
• Understanding of signatures, certificates, and compliance requirements in build procedures.
