DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Cloud Architecture & Strategy: Develop and enhance the organization's cloud architecture, prioritizing security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness within AWS.

• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Streamline the automation of cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform, ensuring uniform configuration, patching, and scaling across all environments.

• Design and sustain CI/CD pipelines and internal tools to facilitate smooth deployment and promote DevOps best practices throughout the organization.

• Reliability & SLAs: Guarantee the high availability and performance of production platforms in accordance with SLAs, overseeing disaster recovery strategies and resilience plans.

• Observability: Set up and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to proactively identify anomalies and comprehend system behavior.

• Incident Management & Collaboration: Partner with development and product teams to address complex issues, enhance critical systems, and lead root cause analyses.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• At least three years of experience as a DevOps Technician.

• Familiarity with cloud environments, particularly Amazon Web Services.

• Extensive knowledge of Linux, Unix, and Windows environments, as well as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL relational databases, and MongoDB non-relational databases.

• Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm (EKS, Argo Rollouts).

• In-depth knowledge of scripting languages, including Perl, Python, and shell scripting.

• Experience with Nginx, Tomcat, and OpenResty.

• Understanding of CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Go.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.

• Proficiency in monitoring and logging tools (Datadog, Elasticsearch).

• High proficiency in English.
