DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the software engineering team to establish engineering and deployment processes.

• Develop scalable, containerized environments.

• Oversee and maintain deployment environments.

• Engage with both local and offshore colleagues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues independently or as part of a team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional DevOps engineering experience with current proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps is advantageous), Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.

• Proficient in a scripting language (e.g., bash, Python) and familiar with creating scripts for Java and Node JS applications.

• A strong desire to develop automated solutions.

• Consistently seeks improvement and maintains high standards of quality.

• Demonstrated experience in participating in agile engineering teams and delivering stable environments.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

• Exceptional problem-solving and organizational abilities.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related IT/technology field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: Experience with Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms, with Azure experience being a significant plus.

• Experience in a continuous software delivery model is beneficial.

• Experience working with distributed engineering teams across different locations.
