DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Continuously optimize and minimize infrastructure and cloud expenses, particularly our AWS costs.

• Automate the processes of environment provisioning, deployment, and monitoring.

• Enhance observability using tools like Datadog.

• Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to ensure seamless deployments and operations.

• Actively identify manual processes and automate them whenever feasible.

• Upgrade and maintain local development environments to guarantee consistency, performance, and secure integration (including managing certificates, local TLS, dev containers, etc.).

• Utilize strong Linux and system administration skills to manage servers, troubleshoot performance issues, and ensure secure, stable environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or a similar position.

• Practical experience with cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).

• Demonstrated success in optimizing AWS resources and reducing cloud expenditures.

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

• Strong skills in scripting or automation (for example, Bash, Python, Go).

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and best practices.

• A strong sense of ownership along with a focus on efficiency and automation.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).

• Not based in Germany.
