DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Implement, manage, and enhance AWS cloud services, including EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, SQS, API Gateway, and other related offerings.

• Oversee container platforms utilizing Kubernetes, ideally EKS, along with kubectl, Helm charts, and Docker.

• Design, provision, and support infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.

• Develop and uphold modules, variables, and versioning best practices for effective cloud resource management.

• Configure, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines utilizing Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or comparable tools.

• Adopt GitOps methodologies with ArgoCD or other associated tools.

• Automate operational tasks through scripting in Bash, Python, or related programming languages.

• Implement and manage monitoring, observability, metrics, alerting, and centralized logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Loki.

• Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of security, availability, scalability, and reliability in cloud and microservices environments.

• Collaborate with Technology, Product, and Security teams to ensure stable and traceable deployments that align with business objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with AWS cloud services.

• At least 3 years of experience with infrastructure as code practices.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience with Atlassian tools including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket.

• At least 3 years of experience applying DevOps methodologies in cloud environments.

• Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, EKS, ECS, S3, RDS, SQS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, VPC, IAM, and Security Groups.

• Knowledge of Kubernetes, EKS, kubectl, Helm charts, and best practices for workload deployment.

• Understanding of Docker and containerization best practices.

• Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, infrastructure as code, modules, variables, and versioning practices.

• Proficiency in CI/CD processes using Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Awareness of ArgoCD, GitOps, and scripting in Bash, Python, or similar languages for automation purposes.

• Understanding of monitoring and observability with Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, Loki, or other centralized logging tools.

• Familiarity with Lambda Functions, serverless architectures, SRE practices, SLI, SLO, SLA, telemetry, and applied AI is advantageous.

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in technical English.
