DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Oversee and implement infrastructure in both on-premises and cloud settings

• Establish and uphold containerized applications utilizing Docker and orchestration through Kubernetes

• Streamline infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and manage configurations using Ansible

• Create, configure, and sustain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub Actions

• Handle source code management and versioning via GitHub

• Write and uphold scripts in at least one programming language (such as Python, Bash, etc.)

• Execute SQL CRUD operations and manage database systems

• Administer Linux environments and resolve system/process/network issues

• Set up and manage web servers like Apache and NGINX, including the configuration of SSL

• Oversee build and dependency tools such as Maven

• Monitor system performance, processes, and security measures

• Collaborate with teams to enhance deployment processes and ensure system reliability

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English at B1 level or above

• Strong experience in Linux administration and networking principles

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub/GitHub Actions, and Ansible

• Proficient in at least one programming language

• Knowledge of SQL (CRUD operations)

• Understanding of web servers (Apache/Nginx) and SSL certificates

• Awareness of Maven and Linux processes
