DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Oversee Linux environments

• Provide support for Docker/Podman workloads

• Diagnose production issues

• Assist with hybrid cloud deployments

• Maintain platform stability

• Create Bash automation scripts

• Enhance CI/CD pipelines

• Facilitate infrastructure automation

• Manage monitoring, logging, dashboards, alerts, and telemetry solutions

• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and infrastructure teams on deployment and modernization projects

• Engage in a DevOps project within the banking sector

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience

• Practical knowledge of Linux

• Experience with container technologies including Docker and Podman

• Proficient in Bash, capable of reading and writing complex scripts

• Familiarity with AWS products and services, along with experience in managing hybrid deployments across private and public clouds

• Basic networking skills sufficient to troubleshoot issues with network interfaces, routing, and performance

• Knowledge of a variety of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Ansible)

• Understanding of observability/monitoring stacks (e.g., Grafana, Tempo, Loki, Prometheus)

• Strong critical thinking abilities

• A focus on delivery

• Advanced English proficiency (required)

• Development experience in C# or Java, with a solid understanding of the .NET/JVM runtime; or broader application management expertise

• Knowledge of Linux CPU and memory management

• Experience in migrating large legacy systems

• Experience in designing and building complex deployment pipelines

• Skills to manage self-hosted tools

• Essential residency in Spain
