DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Implement industry best practices for monitoring, observability, security, and automation of infrastructure.

• Guarantee the availability of services with a target uptime of 99.99% for critical blockchain infrastructure.

• Design and sustain tools for Cardano and Midnight infrastructure within a multi-cloud or hybrid bare metal setting.

• Proactively diagnose issues during testing and deployment phases, resolving protocol-level bottlenecks.

• Construct and oversee CI/CD pipelines for Midnight initiatives.

• Engage in on-call rotations to address production system interruptions.

• Oversee the transition from a federated validator to a decentralized validator network.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years in a DevOps/SRE position with direct involvement in blockchain infrastructure.

• Strong expertise in Linux-based systems and their administration.

• Familiarity with container environments and orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Proficient in utilizing Grafana, Prometheus, or similar tools for real-time monitoring.

• Expert in shell scripting, along with knowledge of system languages such as Rust, Go, and Python.

• Extensive experience in configuring, scaling, monitoring, and optimizing services in AWS/GC.

• Demonstrated ability to produce clear operational designs and conduct blameless post-mortems.

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools, including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.
